CJ was a very lucky boy who got to celebrate his birthday 3 times! First we celebrated in Rupert with Grandma & Grandpa Allen on Oct 24. He got to open presents and eat his "Lightening McQueen" cake Grandma bought him.

Then on our way home from our trip, we stopped at Grandma & Grandpa Parker's house Sunday evening. There CJ had cupcakes and more presents to open.

And last but not least, on his birthday (the 26th) we celebrated without presents by just having lots of fun. The first thing we did was went to lunch at McDonald's (his choice). Then we took him to the Fun Park to play. First we tried bowling. He loved it. And then we had invited his friend and her family to join us. CJ had a great time running around with his friend in the soft play area.

Overall I'd say all of his celebrations were a big hit! What a big boy our little 5 year old is! It's hard to believe that he is that old already. What joy he brings to our lives each day!
